About AccentPrep
​
AccentPrep is a service designed to help you refine your American accent for presentations, interviews, auditions, and everyday communication. When we work with you, we'll address pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, voice quality, and speech patterns. For a natural and clear American accent, it's necessary to balance all of these elements.
We are a small team of coaches, each with many years of one-on-one accent training experience. We understand that you're focused on the content of your event, and you're busy juggling the rest of your life as well. Our specialty is giving you an understanding of where you are with your accent and then coming up with an efficient strategy to help you towards your goal. We focus on prioritizing where your biggest efforts should be, and we zero in on specific sounds and vocabulary that you'll actually be using.
We're located on both the East and West Coasts of the US, so there's a good chance that our availability will line up with yours!

Our lead instructor, Kathryn Reed, is located in Boston and has degrees from Brown University and the University of Florida. She's had 14 years of experience in helping people progress toward a natural American accent. During this time, Kathryn has worked with over 200 students from many language backgrounds.

She has prepared people for many different types of presentations, including academic lectures, scientific conferences, appearances before the US Congress, and auditions in Hollywood.
